Symphonic Synthpop

Espiaille (pronounced “ess-pee-eye-elle”) is a Denver-based symphonic synthpop duo, the collaboration of violinist/vocalist Sarah Hubbard (Flobots, Sigur Rós, Kygo) and drummer/bassist/vocalist Ivan Armendáriz (The Ephinjis). Commanding stages as Gwen and Victor with a sound that melds the verve-y buzz of Twenty One Pilots with the cerebral danceability of Magdalena Bay, Espiaille’s blend of the organic and electronic has captivated audiences on stages & tours across the United States. Following their 2025 debut EP BYTES, Espiaille has gained rapid momentum, earning a top finalist spot in 93.3 KTCL’s coveted “Hometown for the Holidays” competition.
